I’M NOT GOD

I'm not very proud of some memories, well proud is a lame descriptive for anything I feel, but especially memories; some memories I loathe.  I do not loathe them because I necessarily hate them; I loathe them because they're of the world and/or the flesh.

The world caused me to believe and act on things in my foolish youth that created false feelings, beliefs, and emotions that are still a challenge to overcome today.  That is what the world according to the media will do to you.  They will create a world in the imagination of your mind that is a lie, and you will model your world after the rudiments of their indoctrination.

Soon you will have adopted their manners, false feelings, and artificial emotions and substituted them for the authentic.  Then, your world will consist of talking about and watching the world of news, politics, and entertainment, and living your life after their principles in contradiction to God’s word.  That is their goal, and currently there is scarcely a person who is not a loyal subject of their domain.

Recently, “Christian” music entertainer Lauren Daigle, in an act that she thought was neutral, actually endorsed the homosexual lifestyle.  Omitting to defend God’s word, or pleading ignorance to it, is the same as affirming the opposite or evil.  And now you have Christian “comedian” (there’s a joke), John Crist, defending her.  Here is a transcript of the encounter when Lauren Daigle was asked, “do you feel that homosexuality is a sin?”  

“I can't honestly answer on that.” “In a sense, I have too many people that I love that they are homosexual. I don't know. I actually had a conversation with someone last night about it. I can't say one way or the other. I'm not God. So when people ask questions like that…that's what my go to is. I just say read the Bible and find out for yourself. And when you find out let me know, because I'm learning too.” Lauren Daigle, on The Domenick Nati Show.

Before I respond to the specifics of her statement, you should know this.  She is an entertainer; her net worth is over 6 million dollars, and like John Crist, she has done more for her world than she has done for God.  When she says, “I actually had a conversation with someone last night,” and “I can't say one way or the other,” she is talking about her handlers in code (whether she admits this or not), and they know embracing homosexualism will sell more records.  They know what questions are going to be asked ahead of time, and they craft a response to propagate their worldly beliefs and increase their fortunes and deceive you into believing and increasing it for them.

Now a biblical response to her statement beginning with, “I can't honestly answer on that.” Why can she not answer that? The Bible says:

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1Pe 3:15.

“I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.” Psa 119:46.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Rom 1:16.

In 1 Peter 3:15, the Bible says to be ready always to give an answer, and they were.  The problem is that it was a devil’s answer, because they were ashamed to give God’s answer for fear of the world’s view on it.

Here is her next response, “In a sense, I have too many people that I love that they are homosexual.”

From the Bible:

“He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Mat 10:37-39.

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” 2Co 7:10.

Why make such a clear statement here?  If you were going to deny a response after God’s word to begin with, why go out of your way to say you love the homosexual lifestyle in others?  It was a crafted statement to support homosexualism, while at the same time it was hoped it would not alienate God’s true believers.  Her handlers, and her, felt the ignorant Christians will keep buying her merchandise anyway, but that they can expand into the trending homosexual market and make more money.  It is always about the money, don't kid yourself (1Ti 6:10).

We all have people we love in the flesh who have fallen under the Devil’s deceptions.  When you look on them with the world’s emotions and feelings you are not looking on them with God’s love (1Jn 2:15-17).  Your flesh is of NO PROFIT to God (Joh 6:63), and be sure these entertainers are protecting flesh not spirit (Rom 8:5).

Your flesh is going to die one way or another.  You can mortify the deeds of the flesh and walk in the Spirit now, or time will mortify your flesh for you; and because of your refusal to mortify the deeds of the flesh, you will never walk in the spirit (Rom 8:13).  The choice is yours but you have to take a strong stand on the true love of God against violations of His will if you love God.  “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Joh 14:15.

Lauren Daigle’s next response is probably one of the most damning testimonies I have ever heard a supposed Christian say.  And while many (including comedian John Crist) say it jokingly, it was definitely the wrong application in this case:

“I can't say one way or the other. I'm not God.”

Biblical Text:

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Col 1:27.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Eph 3:17-19.

“As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.” Psa 17:15.

“The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” Joh 10:33-34.

This is a testimony where she is actually stating a truth.  When she stands (kneels) before God, this will be her moniker.  “I’m not God,” and where there could be 50 pages of biblical text copied here that says that our hope is sustained by us reflecting the God that is in us, she with three words denied that she even has God in her.  And, she currently does not have God in her, by her own admission.

When you can impertinently remark, “I’m not God,” it not only testifies that you do not belong to Him, but that you have no fear of Him.  “I’m not God,” says, don’t ask me, that’s His deal not mine; again showing that you are not in agreement with God.  This is a testimony that she does not agree with or belong to God (it’s the same difference), and she follows this damning statement up with:

“So when people ask questions like that…that's what my go to is. I just say read the Bible and find out for yourself. And when you find out let me know, because I'm learning too.”

Well, the true people of God are letting her know.  It is obvious that Lauren Daigle is a puppet of the world.  She admits that she has no knowledge of the Bible and what God’s word says about the sin of homosexualism.  She has chosen the path of entertainment and luxury and will make faux shows of being pious in order to sell her merchandise.  At the same time, she will compromise God in order to stay in good standing with the entertainment world and their false beliefs.  God is not popular in the world, which is why very, very few people are actually saved.

There is no in between.  Being in between God and the world, is being on the Devil’s side.  God requires all and for you to know that, only the Devil and the world wants you to be a little dirty.  If she did not want to answer the question she would have been better off saying God commands us to live for him and not our flesh and left it at that.  However, she chose to make a definitive statement supporting homosexualism under subterfuge; she chose to blame it all on God because she has a worldly love for friends who are homosexual.

If you are going to live your life after the world you will receive the world’s judgment.  God will not make a distinction (or exception) in your case because you can sing good and make lots of money and it looks good when you visit prisons and wave a Christian flag.

You are saved by faith not works, and when you deny that faith, no amount of works will save you.  So, John Crist, the makings of your next joke are at hand.  It does not matter that you think, “Lauren Daigle, has done more for the kingdom in a year, then you will do in five lifetimes,” because her works are not God’s by her own admission.  What does matter is one lifetime of fidelity; and belief in God means defending His word over your own pleasures, feelings, and self-righteousness that lays the blame on God for anything you feel worldly shame over in answering.  By the way, are you homosexual?

John Crist should start all his comedy “acts” after Lauren Daigle’s model…“I’m not God.”  That way those who are God’s will know not to listen to his jokes, as there is no God in him as well.  Choke yourself with the world, but do not use your worldly fame and friendship to the world to choke others.  Their blood will be on your hands for providing false testimonies about God or blaming Him for things you and your worldly friends do not agree with in His word.

So, even if the disclaimer that you and your followers find funny without understanding the scope of it sounds good and superficially believable, it is only because they are under your deceptions.  Whereas, I believe you when you say, “I’m not God,” and therefore choose not to listen to or believe anything you say…or buy anything you sell.  If more Christians refused to buy the world’s lies, the world would not have the money to spread them.
