LUKEWARM CHRI$TIAN

I feel the call of God in my life.  So, the first thing I do is turn to man and go to his government controlled schools where they brainwash me with a lukewarm doctrine that teaches me how to wrest meanings out of scripture that allows sin to flourish.

After ordination, I have a church that is incorporated under the government and ran with bylaws required to maintain that charter.  My primary goal becomes collections and building that church up.  Hopefully into a megachurch like all the ones the government allows to be on TV.  They are so splendid.

I push the government’s message as well as the seminary’s lukewarm doctrines.  I tell the congregants to be patriotic and support war, we are fighting for freedom; although the people being killed have never attacked or damaged us.  I blind myself to the truth that what is really happening is our government is robbing these nations of their natural resources, and that our government will create “false flag” attacks on our own people to ensure support.  I lie to myself and say, “Our government would never do that.”

I tell my congregants to support Israel, they are God’s people, though God’s true people in Israel do not support their secular government which has nothing to do with Yahweh.  I blind myself to the truth that the secular government in Israel is committing the same deceptions as the ones I refuse to see here.

I compel my congregants to vote (most of which are registered Republicans), and teach them to hate Democrats who are as equally deluded as I under a scheme to cause division in the nation.   I instruct them to support the doctrines of our political affiliation in order to elect a person who is a bigger hypocrite than me.  We continue this cycle every four years while we watch the wickedness of the world prosper and wonder why.

In addition to my false doctrines, I also sponsor a great many distractions that keep my sleeping flock occupied.  I was talking to one of my sheeple while leaving our favorite café about a sad tell-lie-vision show we both saw where a man had lost everything and was living on the street as we passed by a bum and my friend said, “Get a job.”

During our church Super Bowl party my team scored a touchdown and the player threw his hand in the air to give “god” praise.  I said, “Hallelujah,” because the previous play he was sacked for a 20 yard loss.  Guess it was the other guys turn to wave his hand.

Everything in our church is fair and balanced in accordance with our prosperous lifestyle. We do not tolerate “hate speech” from those who say we are worldly either.  We are quick to rebuke evil, or good, while we do that which is good, or evil, I get them mixed up some times (Isa 5:20).

Yep, life’s good.  I wholly support our government; they are doing what is best by me.  Just look at the riches and activities we enjoy as privileges of our “citizenship.”  I will support war, unlawful statutes, unfair taxes and fees, kangaroo courts, believe anything, and live like the TV tells me as long as I can have this good, or evil life, I get them mixed up some times.

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
