NATURAL MARRIAGE v/s GAY “MARRIAGE”
The Scripture references herein define marriage as instituted by God. Because of this, it is implied that unions outside of the definition (such as same-sex unions), are a sin…and that is a correct implication.
However, within the biblical definition also exists another apparent meaning. Jesus stated that the married (opposite-sex) couple become “one flesh” after the unitive joining, and this joining cannot be divided (divorced) by man.
Therefore, the biblical definition of marriage shows that gay unions are a sin, but it more clearly shows that Divorce and Remarriage is a sin as well, and both sins bar you from inheriting the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9-10, Gal 5:19-21).
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24.
“Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?” Malachi 2:14-17.
God clearly witnessed your first marriage (“between thee and the wife of thy youth”), and that it is considered a covenant bond which cannot be broken. A Natural Marriage is the only marriage God recognizes; of gay unions, there are none in Scripture because they serve no purpose and possess no moral good.
He also testifies that He made each spouse one flesh (He allowed the unitive joining), you did not create the organs that join, you did not create the flesh that feels, He did, so it is God that makes them “one” flesh by the definition of the unitive joining – NOT CEREMONY.
Every time prior to marriage you fornicated, you created “soul ties” in the flesh with others by the unitive joining (1Co 6:16-18), recognized as covenants that God testifies to, and sin that you need to confess in order to annul the covenant and close open doors of reproach. Fornication is sex between people who have never been married; sex acts between gays is called abomination (Lev 18:22). You cannot create a soul tie performing an abomination because it is in direct opposition to God, whereas sex between opposite-sex couples can be solemnized (Deu 22:29).
These soul ties are in the flesh (even marriage) not in the spirit, for God says, “he had the residue of the spirit,” and “take heed to your spirit,” because the one flesh joining is meant to produce a Godly seed (children), but the spirit is Gods’. For that reason, God says, “he hateth putting away” (divorce), because this leads to a treacherous outcome that usually destroys your spirit or the other’s spirit (spiritual death comes by sin – Rom 5:12), and this works against salvation.
Matthew 19:3-6: “The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
The question in Matthew 19:3-6, is can we divorce, and Jesus’ answer is no; and not only does Jesus define marriage with the answer, but He also indicates that it is a covenant recognized by God, and man should not dissolve it. Hell will be peopled with lawyers and judges that dissolved Natural Marriages and promoted gay unions against God’s command not to; and a woe to preachers and those who remarried adulterers and those who performed gay unions, and the participants as well.
How fearful it will be for those who have changed laws to allow the redefinition of God’s Natural Marriage, the only marriage capable of unitive joining (God’s two in one flesh principle), to allow gay unions that cannot complete a unitive joining and serve no altruistic purpose or possess any moral good.
Mark 10:2-9: “And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
Jesus clearly revoked Moses’ bill of divorcement (that he had added to God’s word), it is not even to be used by Christians; and incidentally, Moses’s divorcement did not have anything to do with a consummated marriage or adultery (because they stoned adulterers). Jesus clearly defined marriage and it is a Natural Marriage between one man and one woman and there is no such thing as a “Gay Marriage” because they serve no principled purpose (only selfish desire). Additionally, the Bible makes it clear that when entered into, marriage is not to be dissolved by anyone. Those who divorce and remarry violate the definition of marriage as well, because the Bible states, “they two shall be one flesh.”
Therefore, a Natural Marriage of one man and woman MEANS one marriage of flesh not to be divided by man; if it is, they are no more one, and God does not allow remarriage anywhere. A gay union is not Biblical, or a union that possess the capability of any moral good, it serves only selfish desires and is abomination.
