This (DUBS only) anime list is organized under a rating system of a best 5 out of 5 weighted average based on: 1. Story – Carries the Highest Weight, Founded on 6 Evaluative Filters 2. Style – Quality of the Anime Graphics and Artistic Impression 3. Stereo – The Quality of the Music of the Anime Additionally, there is a sorting aspect based on preferences as follows: a=Anime enjoyed enough to view multiple times b=Anime enjoyed only once or twice c=Anime likely unfinished for various reasons (see Note 1.) d=Anime where removing ecchi content would tank the show (see Note 2.) m=Multiple seasons anime 53+ episodes (not an exclusive sorting aspect) x=Anime that could not be continued after watching first few episodes Anime is subjective.  What one person likes another may not.  This list is from the perspective of an adult male anime enthusiast.  It is generally opposed to blatant moral desensitization, overtly vulgar, or horrific anime (not all horror), and tends toward cleaver and funny anime with original content and action.  Childish anime and anime that  kills one by death of narration or explanation is tedious also.  Three to six month runs are preferred; typically, after this repetition or deterioration occurs with most anime.

2.	The "d" sorting aspect refers to anime that uses ecchi content to bridge the gap for lack of story.  Anime under different sorting aspects may contain ecchi content or fan service, but the story is good enough that it does not have to rely on ecchi content.  There are also anime under the "d" aspect that start out featuring ecchi content, then abandoned it and try to push an under whelming story.  It is understood that fan service is used to make an anime funny and entertaining and I agree, but when it is the primary element (bordering on hentai), or it is used to make up for lack of originality, the amine may be classified under the "d" or "x" sorting aspects
3.	Pet Peeves: -Blatant Moral Desensitization, Overtly Vulgar, or Horrific Anime (not all horror) -Childish Anime (nothing personal, but I am an adult) -Death by Narration or Explanation -Repetition or Deterioration of Story and Recycling Stale Content -Story Overplay or Protracted Story (I do not mind waiting 12 episodes to find out that the guy gets the girl, we all knew he would, but if that is the limit of your creativity skip it) -No Focus, Back and Forth, Up and Down, and Annoying Stories -Silly, Stupid, or Dry Stories -Too Serious, Too Traditional, and Too Technical Stories (I don't want to play a video game but watch an anime) -Banal Content, Walking, or Running to death (I have quit some anime after the first 15 minutes because the animator figured out how to make characters walk, run, or clean house for long periods of time as filler) -Sport Stories that are longer than the Sport's Season.  This sort of falls under a Protracted Story pet peeve, but this is common in sport stories.  I have a natural aversion to sport stories because they tend to be a one run watch.  After you know who wins there is not much incentive to watch it again as long as the sport and the training is the main action -Chronic Loser Protagonist (If you stumble the main character more than 3 times, I don't want to watch anymore, that's my life and I am trying to escape that)
	-Battling BS (many anime have a huge fan base but the bulk of the show is just fighting.  I like a good story so, I am not a fan of protracted battling. Action should add to the story, not be the story)
4.	Process: The core of the evaluation occurs in the first 6 episodes (unless I do not like it and I at least try and watch 2 to 3 episodes).  If the 12th (or more) episode is reached, the anime will usually Score 4.0 and above.  With some of the higher episode anime (like the “m” Sort), I may really like the first season, but the latter episodes begin to deteriorate.  As a rule, I do not adjust the Score if the core is novel and solid enough to invite repeated viewings.  Because of my proclivity for repeat viewings, the process is always ongoing.  The first viewing may get a low Score; however, if I am moved to watch it again, I will adjust it.  Also, if the second or more seasons of an anime changes its name, I may not include the new title/s in the list unless there is such a difference as to warrant it (ex. Freezing is included but not Freezing Vibration because I considered both in the Score).  There may be second or more season shows or remakes in the list under their new titles and the first season or show is not included because the new titles are better and vice versa.  The “Rank” is not so much the order as the “Score” As stated at the top, the Score is based on a rating system of a best 5 out of 5 weighted average.  The Story carries the highest weight and consists of the 6 Evaluative Filters of Interest, Comedy, Romance, Action, Drama, and a Miscellaneous rating for evaluating an overall impression
5.	List Trivia: *I have an honorary inclusion of two anime as a tribute in memoriam to American web-based animator and writer Monty Oum.  I consider Red vs. Blue and RWBY as anime, but many people consider them cartoons.  It is difficult because the Japanese style of anime is different than American cartoons, and both are different than Red vs. Blue and RWBY.  If the characters have five fingers it is a coin toss, four or less fingers are definitely cartoons There are some anime in fixed positions on the list like my favorite (Freezing) at #13, which has to do with my DOB.  B Gata H Kei is at #18 for sentimental reasons and Kill la Kill is at #24 because there are 24 episodes without the OVA.  Initial D 1st Stage is at #86 because the car Takumi drives is a Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86).  You can probably figure out why Mob Psycho 100 is at #100.  Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt is probably the worst anime I have ever watched which is why it is last; a lot of people like its vulgarity, but it just goes to show you that popular voice actors will say anything (even lie in court) rapaciously.  After some of these voice actors made public their prurient real-world side in 2019, I have to admit hearing them now tends to make me shave points off an anime
	Why dubs only anime?  There are many that feel watching anime in the original Japanese with subtitles is the only “true” sign of a real fan.  For me, I do not like reading subtitles, i.e., I want to watch anime and listen not read.  Reading a show prevents me from doing other things and it is easy to miss action and words if you get distracted for a moment.  I realize the friction between the two camps.  If you want to read your anime like a manga go ahead, but don't look down on me for preferring dubs only or you may miss the writing on the screen.  Not all Japanese anime get dubbed so, there may be some good ones that you can only watch with subtitles.  Personally, I would not know
