AUTHORITY

AUTHORITY

Your pastor’s authority (or whosoever exercises dominion over your faith), probably does not come from God.  For ministers who have been ordained by a secular school or denomination, they were either licensed directly, or certified and then ordained by a congregation’s approval when a church hired them.  The point is that receiving power and authority from God, and receiving it from secular institutions or taking it upon yourself, is not the same.  When God grants power and authority to an individual, it can never be confused with the world’s ordination rites or self-imposed permissions.  The world has too many pretenders with no witness, power, authority, basically no approval from God in their ministry, and they are exercising dominion over the faith of others.

When a person hears and receives the Gospel, there is great excitement and joy.  God just wiped your slate clean and opened your heart to hear of His kingdom.  Natural abilities and feelings cause you to experience a compulsion to minister, and you associate this feeling with a call to do so, but you never endeavor to be chosen by God to do so, but take matters into your own hands and submit to the brainwashing of Satan’s schools.  Equally, there are many self-made Bible experts that consider themselves as having authority based on their knowledge, but they too are not of God.  You can ask them; ask them if God told them to go to school after hearing the Gospel?  Ask the homegrown expert if he saw a burning bush or light on the road?  Make them affirm God revealed Himself in a similar manner as He did to those in the Bible.  I guarantee they can only say, it was just a feeling I had, again, a feeling “I” had.  The ministers in the Bible received direction directly from God, in fact, it was part of their witness and in no way was it confused with feelings or imagination.

I have always been astonished by individuals who through words and knowledge become puffed up to believe they are ministers of God.  Why not seek the honor that comes from God alone, and wait to gain His approval instead of assuming it yourself?  Paul said it best when he told the Corinthians, “I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.”  Elders and Bishops were ordained by those with the witness of power, authority, and discernment from God when establishing churches on their missionary journeys.  No doubt when Paul left Corinth, the self-proclaimed experts entered the scene prompting this reproof.

While it is easy to differentiate between those with worldly minister licenses and those without them, both groups share similarities.  Both wield a lot of Bible knowledge supposing that gives them authority and approval from God, but it does not.  There are differences, such as those who are self-made will likely lack etiquettes and counselling training, whereas your schooled ministers acquire this as part of their secular training.  These can be handy skills for religious imposters.  Regardless of the similarities or differences, neither are approved of by God, “For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.”  True approval from God is not of this world in any way, and can never be mistaken as such. What these biblical intellectuals know amazes me sometimes, but not as much as what they do not know, like the need for the basic proof and witness of God’s approval and authority described in the Bible, which they lack.  You can never escape the absence of definitive proof of God in your ministry but by deception, even if you have deceived yourself.

The world and prince the Devil, has rewritten history to deceive and sow disunity.  Most think that the US Civil War was fought over slavery, but it was not.  War is always about lust and never about freeing others, establishing democracy, or providing care to the poor or needy (Jas 4:1).  The oligarchy would never waste money on something that does not benefit them.  The Civil War was fought over control.  The goal of the war was to rein in independence granted by the Revolutionary War.  War is seldom about public issues, and privately the Civil War brought eventual change through a new Constitution transforming our nation into the corrupt state we have now.  The 13th Amendment freed “involuntary” slaves, but the 14th Amendment made us all voluntary slaves through our ignorance.  Publicly, The South was exporting a lot of agricultural goods and there was no industrial boon in the North yet.  Slaves made the South’s agricultural goods cheaper to produce, hence, slavery became an issue after the fact to cripple and demean the South and increase Northern recruitment.  I am not condoning slavery, but the Devil is not an idiot.  The Devil controls the world’s institutions and information, and disinformation he feeds the world.  Propaganda being used today in relation to wars (past or present) is meant to keep strife and division at the forefront, so the rich can work behind the scenes to feed their lusts.  The Bible says:

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;  1Ti 4:1-2.

Knowledge does not originate with man, and today especially, you have to be careful of those who have embraced doctrines of devils.  In the passage above, Paul got his information from the Spirit speaking expressively (not his imagination or feeling).  It is not enough to be baptized with the Holy Ghost with the same manifestation of speaking in tongues or prophesying (which is the only evidence given in the Bible), but you have to hear what the Spirit is saying through the utterance.  Additionally, walking in the Spirit is going to make it easier for you to identify deception and charlatans.  Only the Spirit can open up scripture to you, else you are only learning knowledge from the world’s schools or media.  The first thing Jesus said to His disciples when they asked about the signs of His coming and the end of the world was, “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”  Every Christian I have met is deceived on some level, and most of the time it is because of the sins they love (whether they see them or not), even the sin of ignoring God’s gift of the Spirit.  We cannot get anywhere as a body if we continue to allow those deceiving us to control religion.  You are not entering into the kingdom of God, and you are blocking those who would by pretending God told you directly to minister.

I remember people I encountered who are under false doctrines.  Many times, I had to hit the book and pray in the Holy Ghost to understand their views on their favorite false doctrines to find God’s truth on the matter.  I came across one self-proclaimed expert that had several errant views that disturbed the Spirit in me.  I challenged his false doctrines, and on one occasion his heresy not only lacked biblical witness, but was farfetched; so, I just plainly said, where did you get that from?  He said he came up with it on his own (like it was a clever revelation) to which I said, no way.  Sure enough, he was lying, because I researched the internet and eventually found where others developed and held to the same false doctrine.  I do not gamble, but if I did, I would go all in that he acquired this false doctrine from YouTube, the radio, and/or the internet then adopted it.  It fits, because those religious without God’s Spirit who oppose establishment religion, cling to clever unorthodoxies to impress others.

This specific deceived Christian held his false doctrines in high regard with an air of lofty intellectualism.  God will develop discernment through experience, and most of mine has come from the experience of being subjected to error while the Spirit within me tore my gut apart.  This same man entertained a young suitor for his estranged daughter.  He began sharing a doctrine about which day of the week Jesus was crucified, which has some merit, but it was being twisted for another purpose.  The young suitor’s father was a pastor, but he had never heard this doctrine.  The suitor was visibly acting impressed as if awakened.  This in turn excited the dissident who began pressing with more, like he was reeling in a big fish.  I recognized the excitement in the dissident’s face because I have done it too; you know, got excited because you opened someone’s eyes and you just can’t shut up after that.  However, the suitor was not acting impressed because of the doctrine, but because he was adulating a father of a woman he wanted to marry.  The dissident lacked the discernment to notice because it was all about his knowledge.  I was biting my tongue to keep from laughing.

This man’s doctrines were such an insult to true righteousness that I will not name any more here.  His captivity to worldly knowledge about God blinded him to the true state of his audience.  Suffice it to say that worldly knowledge was all he had, there was absolutely no power or authority from God in his witness.  In fact, the total opposite can be witnessed.  At the time, there were only three people who acknowledge him as their spiritual leader.  One was blind, one was deaf, and let’s just say the other was working in the ditch.  I do have other blog pages that address several false doctrines I have encountered in detail.  When it comes to your witness, take the evangelist Phillip as an example:

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.  Act 8:6-8.

You have to be careful if you are receiving your doctrinal information from those schooled by the world’s institutions, the internet, or any media.  These sources are under the control of Satan and the world.  The church and deceptive ministers have false doctrines to cover their lack of the kind of witness (power and authority) Phillip had in his ministry.  Additionally, the internet has made it easy to find worldly knowledge, and false information masking as truth, which the deceived use in their own fabricated ministries.  There are fools out there that believe you are not under the law while you are willfully breaking the law, that marriage can be defined, entered into, and dissolved by the world instead of God, that babies are born with a sinful nature they inherit from their parents, that speaking in tongues and prophesying, casting out devils, and healing the sick is of the Devil; to nominal Christians who support wars, robbery, lasciviousness, and wicked professions like politicians, lawyers, judges, and police, and many more matters.  People under false doctrines are your secular church’s membership today.  I’m talking to you!  You cannot hear what the Spirit is saying, and the sources you are using for your knowledge do not have the authority or approval from God in their ministry.  It is because the church has separated itself from the Spirit of God that doctrines of devils have come in like a flood.  The standard is going up now.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.  Isa 59:19.

The standard is no longer your lies that removes the witness of the power and authority of God in your ministry, but the power and authority of God displayed in the Bible by true believers baptized and walking in the Spirit.  It is your free will right to choose to believe lies, God does not deny you this right.  If you want to follow your sermonizing preacher who has no power and authority in his ministry, go ahead.  If you are a false teacher that has no power or authority in your ministry and you want to continue to pretend to be approved of by God when you are not, go ahead.  However, God will not be mocked, at some point all truth becomes self-evident.  If you believe jumping into an active volcano will not kill you, jump, and truth will become self-evident when you burn up.  Incidentally, get used to the heat.

The biggest problem with so-called believers today is that they believe man instead of God.  In the Bible, after people believed the Gospel, the baptism with the Holy Ghost was received through the laying on of hands with the manifestation of speaking in tongues and prophesying (Act 19:2-6).  Paul provides teaching in 1 Corinthians that instructs us to understand what the Spirit is saying through this gift of utterance.  Therefore, you need the baptism with the Holy Ghost in order to receive power and communication through the Spirit.  Now be honest, how many of you have received this baptism, how many of you can hear what the Spirit is saying through the utterance, and how many of you are walking in that anointing?  Keep believing lies if you want to but you are only condemning yourself.

I would that ye all spake with tongues.  1 Corinthians 14:5a.
